About Me

Hello and welcome! I’m Cosette Lanouette, an animation student currently attending Savannah College of Art & Design. My work focuses on 3D animation and storyboarding. All of my work allows me to do what I’ve always wanted: storytelling. For me, storytelling is everything. Pursuing a career in animation allows me to tell unique stories through a variety of visual mediums. While I’m not working on telling my own stories I focus on telling the stories of others through freelance illustration.
I currently live in Orlando, Florida and travel seasonally to continue my education at SCAD. There is a very prevalent technology and animation-loving culture in the Orlando area that I truly enjoy. Through my experience at Crooms AoIT, a technology magnet high school known for its cutting-edge programs, I was able to begin my immersion into the game-design industry. I found myself at Cubic Defense Orlando during a year long internship that allowed me to work with other talented artists and programmers in a true studio setting.
When I’m not drawing or animating, I’m writing, enjoying a variety of tabletop RPGs, video games, and fishkeeping. In addition, I enjoy doing complex crafts such as costume-making and toy customization: Anything that allows me to break out the paints and hot glue!
